Herbal Tea Workshop: The Lily in the Valley — From Novel to Cup (in French)

Echoing the bouquets arranged by Félix de Vandenesse in the novel "Le Lys dans la vallée", Mathilde Nouveau, a producer of aromatic and medicinal plants, explains how she practices her craft in the Indre Valley. During the workshop, learn how to identify plants and forage in the castle grounds, create a sample herbal tea blend using various flowers and leaves, and enjoy your tea made with your freshly picked plants.

Admission: Full price €13.50 / Reduced price €12.50 (ages 7–18, people with disabilities and their companions, large family card holders, Education Pass holders, students, job seekers and recipients of minimum social benefits, journalists, ICOM or Ministry of Culture cardholders, tour guides, employees of Department 37, and their dependents).

Please arrive at the museum ticket office at least 15 minutes before the start of the session to check in your tickets.

Proof of eligibility will be required at the reception desk for reduced-price tickets.

The ticket also grants access to the entire museum (approximately 1.5 to 2 hours for the visit).

In case of inclement weather: the session will still take place and will be held in the castle’s barn. In the event of a red heat wave alert, the session will be moved to 10:30 a.m. Participants will be notified of this schedule change by email at least 24 hours before the workshop.
